Sunshiki Selected for J-Startup WEST

Sunshiki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Ryo Kubota) has been selected for J-Startup WEST, a startup support program promoted by the Shikoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

J-Startup WEST supports promising startups from the Chugoku and Shikoku regions in scaling nationally and globally, with public agencies and private companies working together to accelerate growth. Sunshiki was among 14 companies newly selected from the Shikoku region.

We develop a feed additive using land-based Asparagopsis cultivation technology to reduce methane emissions from ruminants such as cattle and sheep, contributing to climate action. This recognition will help us accelerate expansion into domestic and international markets.
